Naomi (Blumenthal) Berkowitz

Naomi Blumenthal Berkowitz passed on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in the comfort of her home that she loved. Naomi was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna (Rosen) Blumenthal. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Herm.
Naomi’s passion in life was to keep active, stay well-informed of current events and health topics, and make her delicious matzah balls and matzah brei during the holidays. She loved nature, all kinds of music, especially swing and big band, animals and most of all, her family.
Naomi is survived by her son Robert of Beijing, China, her daughter, Shelley and special son-in-law, Michael Levy and her adored granddaughters, Alison and Alexis, and her most beloved granddog, Ozzie.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 27 at 11:00 A.M. at the Beth Israel Cemetery, 119 Affleck Street in Hartford, CT.
The family will receive visitors at Naomi’s home in West Hartford following the service until 7:00 p.m.
