GOLDSTEIN, Pauline (Miller) Goldstein, 85, of Regency Dr., Bloomfield died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. She was the widow of Isadore ?Artie? Goldstein. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lena (Siegel) Miller. Pauline worked for The Travelers Insurance Co. before she retired. She was a life-member of Hadassah, a member of JWI-Jewish Women International which was formerly known as B?nai Brith Women, and the Beth Hillel Synagogue Sisterhood in Bloomfield. She was also a member of 55-0 of Bloomfield and Elmwood Seniors. She leaves her son, Alan B. Goldstein and his wife Carol of Manchester; her daughter, Sheila Frankel and her husband Meyer R. Frankel of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Becky Frankel, Gail Frankel and Michael Goldstein; her brother, Joseph Miller of Bloomfield; and her special friend, Jerry Wolf of Bloomfield. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Staff of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center for the care Pauline received. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Monday, November 5, 2007 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby. Shiva will be observed at the home of her daughter, 11 Croydon Dr., West Hartford, Monday following the funeral through Tuesday evening, continuing at the home of her son, 90 Braeside Crescent, Manchester, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hartford Chapter of Hadassah, c/o Mrs. Faith Helene, 43 Carlyle Rd., West Hartford 06117 or to a charity of the donor?s choice.
