Rebecca Derosa

Rebecca DeRosa, 42, of Avon, CT, formerly of Canton, CT and Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. Beloved wife of Brandon DeRosa, loving daughter of Marlena DeRosa, caring sister of Sarah, and affectionate and fun-loving “Mimi” to her niece, Sydney. She is pre-deceased by her father, Michael DeRosa. Rebecca was warm-hearted to everyone she knew. Her laugh was infectious, and her generosity was awesome. She loved listening to “hair metal”, searching for colorful sea glass along the New Jersey shoreline, and simply making more brilliant the lives of those she met. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, December 27, at 11:00 AM at Farmington Valley Jewish Memorial Park in Avon.

Donations in Rebecca’s memory should be directed to the Lustgarten Foundations for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The Lustgarten family has been personally impacted by this terrible disease and Rebecca was an active fundraiser for the cause.
