Rose (Weiss) Schwartz

Rose (Weiss) Schwartz, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Born in the Bronx, NY, Rose was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Weiss. She was predeceased by her husband Nathan Schwartz, and her sisters, Elyse Marvit and Beatrice Schwartz. Rose is survived by her son, Robert B. Schwartz of West Hartford. In 1951, after her marriage to Nat, they relocated to Bloomfield, CT to start a long career, first as owners of the Bloomfield Hardware Store and later as owners of real estate properties under the trade name of Naro Realty. Rose was always upbeat and happy. She worked tirelessly next to her husband to make sure their various business interests succeeded. She had a passion for the arts, a keen eye for fashion and design, and a strong sense of business. She loved to play bridge in her earlier days. She brought joy to all of those blessed to have known her. Grave side funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 12, at the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
