Roslyn 'Ronni' (Mandell) Goralnick

Roslyn ?Ronni? (Mandell) Goralnick, of West Hartford, died Saturday (February 3, 2007) at home. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, H. Robert (Tuddy) Goralnick (also known as Bob Gorin). Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late George M. Mandell and Eva (Greenberg) Mandell. Ronni is survived by her daughter Brauna Gorin of New Haven; her son Larry Gorin and his wife Angie, and her son Ken Gorin, and his children and her grandchildren, Amanda Brooke Gorin and Gabrielle Eve Gorin all of Miami, Florida. She is also survived by her very close cousins, Dr. Carl Mandell and his wife Cruz, as well as Shelley Mandell and her husband Scott. Ronni attended Weaver High School in Hartford and The University of Connecticut. She was a life member of Hadassah, a life member of the Hebrew Home Auxiliary, as well as member of Beth El Temple of West Hartford and its Sisterhood, ORT, American Medical Center for Cancer, Jewish Children Services Organization, Jewish Association for Community Living, American Cancer Society Auxiliary, St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary and the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center. She was also a member of the former Admissions Committee of the Hebrew Home and Hospital and a devoted volunteer at the Hebrew Home and Hospital for over 30 years as well as a designated Honorary Auxiliary Executive Board member. Ronni was a former member of Tumblebrook Country Club and Boca Pointe Country Club. Private funeral services were held on Wednesday at Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford and interment followed at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby.
