Ruth S. (Goldberg) Goldberg, 89 years of age, of Glastonbury, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She was the cherished wife of the late Dr. Solomon Goldberg, who died July 5, 2000. Born in Colchester, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Yetta (Millendorf) Goldberg. She was the beloved mother of Gail DuBrow of Hamden, Leonard and Sheryl Goldberg of Manchester, and Arlene and Kenneth Dworetsky of Glastonbury. She also leaves her grandchildren: Alan and Kim DuBrow, Steven DuBrow, Jennifer Goldberg and her husband Matt Schnebeli, Jason Goldberg, Matthew Dworetsky, and Daniel Dworetsky; four great grandchildren; Adam, Alex, Samantha, and Scott; her brother, Irving Goldberg; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Faye Hoffenberg, and brother William Goldberg. The family wishes to express their appreciation to all of Ruth’s caregivers. She will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby, with Rabbi Craig Marantz officiating. A memorial period will be observed on Saturday evening, Sunday through Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Arlene Dworetsky, 63 Long Hill Dr., Glastonbury.
