Sareta (Cohn) Baker

Sareta (Cohn) Baker, 86, widow of Irving G. Baker, died Friday, February 16, 2007. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Anna (Ostrofsky) Cohn. She was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue, West Hartford and the Piaterer Verein Society. She leaves a son, Larry S. Baker and his companion Cynthia Brown of West Hartford; two grandchildren: Scott and Sherry Baker; and a sister, Beatrice Kagan of West Hartford. She was predeceased by a son Michael Baker. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment following in the Piaterer Verein Society Cemetery, Wethersfield. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her son, 127 Grove St., West Hartford 06110 Monday following the funeral.
