Sharon (Stoltz) Chaet, 71 years of age, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020. She was born on April 6, 1949 in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of Morris and Henrietta Stoltz. Her son Aaron Nicholas pre-deceased her. She is survived by her daughter Rachel Nicholas and fiancé John Hernandez of Hartsdale, NY, daughter Leah Rumore and wife Heather Rumore of New Haven, CT, sister Lorraine Kuszek of East Berlin, CT, niece Jackie Kuszek Harris and husband Gregory Harris of East Berlin, CT, niece Sarah Kornhaber and husband Mitchell Kornhaber of Port Washington, NY and two grandchildren Johnny and Joshua Hernandez. She also leaves several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Sharon graduated from Newington High School in 1967. Sharon was a loving and devoted mother. She was a single mom for some time and ensured her two girls were taken care of. Once her daughters were in school, she worked various jobs throughout the years. One of which she worked for a long period of time at the Hartford Hospital Admitting Department. She and her sister would spend many summers with their kids at Soundview and Old Colony beaches. Her Jewish faith and traditions were an important part of her life, which she shared with her family. She was a member of the Chabad of the Shoreline in Guilford, CT led by Rabbi Yossi Yaffe. Funeral services will be held graveside on Sunday, December 27th at 1:30pm at Agudas Achim Cemetery in Mansfield, CT. The service will be for immediate family only due to COVID restrictions.
