Sylvia Rubenstein Lutin, 97, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully in the early morning on May 27. She was born August 30, 1923 in Hartford, CT to the late Max and Fannie Rubenstein and was the beloved wife of the late Aaron Lutin, proud sister of the late Dorothy Fischer and loving mother in law of the late Marian Lutin. Sylvia was a lifetime member of the Hebrew Home Women’s Auxiliary. She was a warm woman who befriended everyone she met. She had a great sense of humor, was an excellent dancer and loved her family fiercely. She is fondly remembered by her children Jeffrey and Gail Lutin and Judy and Hal Mooney; her grandchildren Melissa and Joshua Wikoff, Jason Lutin, Anne Lutin and Steven Mooney; and her great-grandchildren Avital and Benjamin Wikoff. Funeral services will be held graveside at Hartford Mutual Society Memorial Park in East Granby. The family will celebrate Sylvia’s life over Zoom on Wednesday June 2 at 7:00pm.
