Terry (Giller) Marcus

Terry (Giller) Marcus, 84, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 22, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome “Jerry” Marcus. Born in Argentina, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Sarah (Jelzer) Giller. She leaves her sons, Stuart Marcus of New York, NY, Mitchell Marcus and his wife Rachel of Avon; and her daughter, Mindy Levy and her husband Mark of Simsbury. In addition she leaves her grandchildren, Jason Levy and his wife Danielle, Benjamin Marcus, Tyler Levy and his fiancé Jessica Furman, Zachary Marcus and his wife Karina and Nathan Marcus. She also leaves behind her devoted caregiver Crystal Lewis. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Manny Giller.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, 15 Wolcott Road, East Granby, CT with Rabbi Philip Lazowski officiating. After the burial, the family will receive guests at Rachel and Mitchell Marcus’s home in Avon. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT.
