Thomas Herlick of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of West Hartford, died Friday, April 20, 2012. He was the owner of Superior Typewriter in Hartford for 30 years, retiring in 1985. He maintained residences in both Connecticut and Florida for many years before moving permanently to Florida ten years ago. He was a lifelong and skilled tennis player, playing regularly until a few years ago. Tom was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Lerner Swett), his daughter and granddaughter, Susan and Lauren Ramezzana, and children Elyse and Steven Feltman, Eileen and Gary Swett, six grandchildren, Seth, Adam, Erin and Michael Feltman, Nicole and Marti Swett and two great grandchildren Eva Feltman and Jake Swett. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Beth El Temple Cemetery, 51 Jackson Street, Avon 06001. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Shiva will be held at the home of Elyse and Steven Feltman 24 Harwich Lane, West Hartford.
