Yuriy Sherman

Yuriy Sherman, 87, of West Hartford, CT, passed away on July 23, 2016. Yuriy was born on January 27, 1929 in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. He immigrated to the U.S. 23 years ago and settled in West Hartford with his family. He worked as a miller for 45 years. Yuriy enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his grandkids. Yuriy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Faina Sherman. Yuriy is also survived by his 2 sons (Alex and Gennadiy Sherman), 2 daughter-in-laws (Irina Sherman and Irina Volodarskaya), and 3 grandchildren: Igor, Dmitry, and Diana. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 26, 2016 at Weinstein Mortuary in Hartford, CT. Burial will follow the funeral at Fairview Cemetery.
