Sidney B. Adelstein passed away at age 96 peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Torrington, CT. Sidney was the beloved husband of the late Elinor (Nemser) Adelstein. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Moses and Betty (Bushel) Adelstein. Sidney and Elinor enjoyed the last 23 years in Naples, Florida and always enjoyed when the family came to visit. Sidney is survived by his three sons, Robert, Lewis, and Bruce; two daughters-in-law, Taliya and Vicki, four beautiful grandchildren, Ariella, Rebecca, Esther, and Ben, as well as many other loving nieces and nephews and family friends. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:30am in the Wolkowysker Society Cemetery, Tower Avenue, Hartford, CT with Rabbi Joseph Gopin officiating. Following the service, the family will receive relatives and friends at the residence of Bruce Adelstein in West Hartford.
