More than Just the Service Itself…
Prearrange and Prepay Planning:
- Many individuals consider prepaying funeral expenses as a means of protecting assets when one is reducing one’s assets to quality for Medicaid or SSI.
- Individuals may establish through WEINSTEIN MORTUARY, Irrevocable (not to exceed $5,400.00) and Revocable (unlimited) Funeral Escrow Accounts in accordance with Connecticut State Statutes.
- Your Funeral Escrow Accounts, through WEINSTEIN MORTUARY, are established with Citigroup Institutional Trust, through Cooperative Funeral Fund, averaging over five percent (5%) gross annualized interest.

Being with loved ones at their most difficult time is essential.
Unfortunately, certain circumstances do not allow them to be there.
We have a simple solution to allow all family members and friends to be part of the memorial service LIVE via the internet. This LIVE streaming video runs in real time, at up to 30 frames per second, as if you were watching T.V., and offers mp3 quality audio. Family and friends may also view the event at a later date from the privacy of their home or office by using the On Demand feature on the website.
We will ask you for your e-mail address or a loved ones e-mail address to invite you to the memorial. Once the invitation is sent, it could be forwarded to whomever you choose via e-mail forwarding. Viewers will need to have a username and password to enter.
As an option, we can also send out the invitations for you. We would need the proper e-mail addresses of family and friends that you would like to be a part of the memorial, either LIVE or On Demand. All that is needed is a high speed internet connection
Our services include:
- Memorial pages are all kept private through use of a username and password
- Viewers can upload photos and videos to the memorial page in order to share with family and friends
- Memorial page of the loved one can be sponsored by Family or Friends for long-term viewing and archiving
- Message board for online condolences
- Memorial page can be personalized to your needs
- Memorials are accessed by invitation only via e-mail
