Abraham M. Pavlowitz, 72, of Old Farm Drive, Newington, husband of Lorraine (Rosenfeld) Pavlowitz, died Friday, May 5, 20006 of cancer. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Nathan and Betty (Abramovicz) Pavlowitz. He was a US Army Veteran. Abraham was a Systems Analyst for the Travelers. He was a member of Congregation B’nai Sholom in Newington. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Steve Pavlowitz and his wife Barbara of Plainville; a daughter Shari Piteo and her husband Randy of Glastonbury; and two grandchildren: Bryan Pavlowitz and Marissa Piteo. A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 7, at 1:30 PM in Congregation B’nai Sholom Memorial Park, Wethersfield with Rabbi Debra Cantor officiating. A private period of mourning will be observed by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
