MOLANS, Adele (Hodes) Molans, 75, of Beechwood Drive, Waterford died peacefully, with her immediate family at her side, on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London. Addy fought a long, courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Emphysema. Born on October 8, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose Hodes. She spent her married life with her husband of fifty-eight years in East Hartford. They owned Hartford Framing Co. for thirty years. In 1982, they retired to Barnstable in Cape Cod, MA to be closer to family and friends, they relocated to Waterford in 2001. Adele is survived by her husband, Edward ‘Sonny’ L. Molans; and two daughters, Melinda Stelzner and her husband Peter of Lyme, and Joan Molans Wood and her husband Thomas of East Hartford. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Molans, by her granddaughter, Valerie Stelzner and by her brother, Elliot Hodes. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with interment in Temple Beth Teffilah Section of Congregation B’nai Sholom Memorial Park, Jordan Lane Ext., Wethersfield.
