Alan Y. Weisenberg, 60 years of age, of West Ridge Drive, West Hartford died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Harriet ?Ethel? (Kurtz) Weisenberg. He graduated from Conard High School Class of 1967. He owned and operated Post Motors in Hartford. He leaves his daughter, Cheryl J. Weisenberg of West Hartford; his brother, Neil B. Weisenberg and his wife Jill Gordon of Avon; and two nieces and a nephew, Erin J. Weisenberg, Kelly F. Weisenberg, and Adam D. Weisenberg. He was predeceased by his sister, Cynthia T. Weisenberg. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Jackson Street Ext., Avon with Rabbi Ilana Garber officiating. A memorial period will be observed at home of his brother, 67 Scoville Rd., Avon, Friday following the interment through 4:00 PM and on Sunday 2:00-8:00 PM.
