Anne (Rosenberg) Fabian, 99 years of age, of West Hartford, died peacefully on August 12, 2016. Anne was born in Hartford, CT on August 30, 1916 to Julius and Katie (Levine) Rosenberg. She was the loving and devoted wife of Lou Fabian, who predeceased her in 2009 after 70 years of marriage. Anne worked for many years in the fashion business, first at the Village Shop at Bishops Corner and later at Florence Travis in West Hartford Center. Anne loved people and her work was the perfect outlet for her sociability. She was admired for her own classic and always put-together style and great taste. These were not just places of work, but places where she made deep and lasting friendships with the women she worked with. Above all else, Anne was a homemaker extraordinaire and proud and loving mother and grandmother. She leaves her children, Kenneth and his wife Sandra of Boxborough, MA, Richard and his wife Barbara of Avon, CT, and Abbe and her husband Richard Primason of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY; her grandchildren, Matthew, Lawrence, Avril, Vera, Philip and Ethan. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Terry (Jaffe) Pollick. The family is deeply grateful to the staff of 3 North at the Hebrew Home and Hospital, particularly her aide Angelee who cared for her with warmth and respect. In her final hours she was cared for with compassion by the attentive staff at Saint Francis Hospital.
