Barry Alan Ginsburg (BA) for short, passed away peacefully at his home in New Britain, Ct. on Monday, November 14, 2022, at the age of 68. Barry was surrounded by his family and friends. Barry is survived by his older brother, Laurence Steven Ginsburg of New Britain and his younger sister, Hilary Ginsburg, of Mckinney, Texas. Barry also had two nieces, Sara Rebecca Williams of Wylie, Texas and Megan Kathleen Runeberg, of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Barry was also the proud “Great” Uncle of Hayden (3) and Hunter (2) of Wylie, Texas. Barry worked in the grocery industry for over 30 years. He would greet his customers in the parking lot or checkout line with a big smile and a hand shake. His kindness and genuine interest in others was limitless. Words cannot express how much we will miss him. Barry was selfless and no challenge was ever too great. His tenacity to keep active and remain optimistic was contagious. You couldn’t help but smile when in the presence of Barry. The family welcomes all of Barry’s friends and the medical staff at Smilow who have supported him during his illness.

Barry was the most cheerful neighbor with a big heart. Always greeting us with a big smile and offering to help whether with bags or packages. A true delight full of enthusiasm and a true gentleman. He will be missed. My family and myself send our condolences and deepest sympathy to Larry and Hillary and to all who knew him. Memory eternal my friend. 🙏

Barry shared countless smiles with me during decades of conversation while shopping. He was a huge personality with a very kind heart. May his memory be for a blessing.
