ROSENBLOOM, Bernard Rosenbloom, 80, of Skinner Drive, Bloomfield died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Edward Louis Rosenbloom and Rose (Rosenberg) Rosenbloom. Bernard was an executive in the wholesale grocery business before he retired. He was a member of Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield, a co-president of the Mr. & Mrs. Club of the Synagogue, and a member of the Synagogue?s Ritual Committee. He leaves his wife, Carol (Simon) Rosenbloom; his son Paul Rosenbloom and his wife Pam of Sturbridge, MA; his daughter, Marcia Ginsburg and her husband Norman M. Ginsburg West Hartford; two loving grandchildren, Rachel Leslie Ginsburg and Maya Sarah Ginsburg; his two brothers, Milton Rosenbloom of Trumbull, and Sidney Rosenbloom of Weston, MA; his sister, Sylvia Gellman of Silver Spring, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Beth Hillel Synagogue, 160 Wintonbury Avenue, Bloomfield with Rabbi Gary Atkins and Rabbi Philip Lazowski officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, East Granby. A memorial period will be observed at his home, 4 Skinner Drive, Bloomfield, Wednesday following the funeral through Friday afternoon.
