Caryn Renee

(Bodian)

Woodward

Obituary

Caryn Renee Woodward moved on to her next life on Nov 29. 2022. She shared this life as the daughter of Gerald and Millie Bodian, sistered her brothers Keith (Susan), Larry (Heidi), and Rick (Gisella), and guided her love Edward P. She nurtures her children Emily-Kevin, Jacob and Brendon-Katie so they too could provide their artistic love to the world thru their talents as well as thru their children Solomon, Marlowe, Marsel and Flynn. Her sisters/cousins Rhonda (Art) and Illene (Jim)and their families are family, as she always said there is no such thing as extended family, just family. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own children and would Bubbie any and every baby that came her way. As she watched the world around her, she would enact ways to make it more pleasant for all: She used seeds and stem to grow flowers, plants, veggies and fruit – so the birds, bees, butterflies and we could all eat. She used hopes and dreams to grow children and grand children – so the world would have more love and peace for all to share. She took paint, pen, paper and color to make clothes and art – so we could all relax, smile and enjoy each other more. She molded ceramic in a clean room into fancy IC chips – so we could keep the horse safely in the barn. And she molded a hollow shell of a boyish young man – to grow a husband, father and Poppy whose love for her will never fade. Shiva will be held at her home Dec 4 – Dec 8.

Shiva:

Shiva will be held at her home Dec 4 – Dec 8 from 2pm to 8pm

Sending our love and deepest sympathy to you Ed and all your family as you say "Farewell" to this beautiful soul who loved and nurtured all whom she knew. Distance and busy lives made our times together too infrequent but how Caryn's warmth, humor and so-authentic self left such a wonderful impression on us.

We met Caryn at a tag sale many years ago when she offered to drive a huge chair to our home - it would not fit in our car - we were friends ever after. She was a lovely, kind, caring, generous person. We will miss her tremendously and are very saddened by her leaving us. She will be missed by us and so many friends in Windsor.

Dear Ed,Emily,Jacob and Brendon and families,

Our happy thoughts and memories of our neighbor and friend. The boys were always
together playing baseball and skateboarding down North Worthy. Caryn you were their second
mother when I was away at work. The center of our block parties for fun and food and laughter.
You were there when we lost Terry with comfort and a beautiful basket.
Love to you all. Prayers and condolences,

One of my favorite homes on the garden tour was that of Caryn and Ed's. Caryn's creative talents made her home a fun haven for kids and grand kids, a work of art for residents, and a sanctuary for beneficial insects and birds. Her absence in the Windsor community will be deeply felt by many, but hopefully we'll all learn from her gifts and continue to embellish Windsor with our creative talents.

Miss Caryn was the only person besides our Parents who was ever allowed to watch our son, Nigel. She loved him like he was her own grandchild. She taught him how to garden, and how to eat lots of cookies at the bakery. She took him to see the trains pass by and made him double over with laughter. She was not only our friend, but but part of our family. She means everything to us. Recently we visited and remembered all the good times we had together. She helped mold the young man he is today and we could never repay her for all the love she gave. We love you so much Miss Caryn! ❤️
