Uncle to Jason (Suzie) Alderman and Ian (Rachel) Alderman. Adoring great uncle to Ellie & Max Alderman. Chuck or “Chas” as he was called by his friends was a graduate of Rockville High and UCONN. He worked for 30 years as a social worker for the state of CT. A “people” person Chuck helped many individuals enjoy a better quality of life. His kindness and sense of humor will be forever missed by his family & many loyal friends. Funeral services will take place at The Knesseth Israel Synagogue Cemetery, 123 Maple St. Ellington, CT on Sunday, September 30,2012 at 10:00 AM. A shiva period will be observed at the home of Caron & Norman Alderman following the interment. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday & Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
