David M. Harrison, 87, of West Hartford died Wednesday, December 10, 2008, peacefully in his sleep, with his family by his bedside. He was the husband of the late Ida (Stein) Harrison. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Solomon and Pauline Harrison. He graduated from Weaver High School in Hartford. David worked in retail management. He was a member of the Agudas Achim Synagogue of West Hartford, the West Hartford Regents, and B?nai Brith. He leaves his son, Kenneth P. Harrison of West Hartford; his daughter, Marjorie S. Partney and her husband Philip M. of Manchester; three granddaughters, Samantha, Hannah and Rachel Partney; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Tager and Beatrice Dunn. The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to the staff at the Hebrew Home & Hospital and to the CT VNA Hospice team that cared for David, in particular to his caregiver, Dede Morgan. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 12, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Agudas Achim Synagogue Cemetery, Cleveland Ave. Ext., Hartford with Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe officiating. A memorial period will be observed at his home, 32 Huckleberry Lane, West Hartford, Friday following the funeral through Sunday evening.
