Passed peacefully on April 30, 2016. Born in Brooklyn on October 30, 1922., David was a resident of Flushing, New York, and Aventura, Florida, before moving to Connecticut to be near family. David was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in the European front. He was a 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias. He loved sports, music, the NY Times and being with family. He was prededed in death by wife, Eleanor Foreman Joseph. Survived by son, Elliot Joseph and his wife, Carolyn Joseph, of Farmington, CT. Also survived by daughter, Tracy Joseph Nadelman, of Old Westbury, NY. “Grandpa Joe” is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services are private with burial in New York.
