Dora Greenbaum, 102, of West Hartford, daughter of the late David and Anna Greenbaum, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Hebrew Home. A graduate of Hartford High School and the State Normal School in New Britain, now Central Connecticut State University, she taught in the Hartford Public School System until her retirement. Dora is survived by her brother, Harold Greenbaum and his wife, Marjorie of Naples, FL; her sister, Sylvia Novarr and her husband Leo of Bloomfield; her sister-in-law, Lore Greenbaum of Bloomfield; and her many nieces and nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack, Cy, and Pinney Greenbaum, and her sisters, Reeva Ledewitz and Lillian Krumholz. Her family would like to thank all those at the Hebrew Home who were so good and caring to Dora all these many years. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Brahilover Benevolent Cemetery, Cleveland Avenue, Hartford with Rabbi Ilana Garber officiating.
