Sending my condolences to Morris, Sharon and Lorraine and their beautiful families and all who knew and loved Henrietta. I'm so thankful for the many happy childhood memories I have with her. She and my mom were close friends for a very long time and although their paths did not always meet, she had a special place in my mother's (Lottie Phillips) heart. My mom was an RN and worked 11PM - 7AM and needed to sleep and often Henrietta was there to fill in the gaps. My brother and I had many fun lunches with Sharon and Lorraine! I'll always remember when she squirted whipped cream in our mouths and laughed with us when it made a mess! There is also the time we got asked to leave EJ Korvett's hat department because mom and Henny were laughing so hard (and loudly) at the way the hats fit them. Mom's head was too small and the hats were falling down over her ears and then Henny's full head of hair made some of the hats sit on top looking silly. Great memory for me. Those are only 2 cherished memories of a simpler time. She truly loved her family. May she rest in peace.

I have such rich memories of "Mrs. Stoltz". This is what I call her, of course, because I lived next door with my family for many years! As I grew, year after year, visiting with "Henny and Morris", I will always remember the gifts they gave from their heart - Mrs. Stolz's hearty laugh that I listened to outside my bedroom window as she talked on the telephone, and her warm smile and how the two of them would call to us to come over and visit and ask questions about our life. It was always a safe and loving place to be. That helped shape my childhood and I am so grateful. Lorraine and Sharon were play pals....they watched over and shared great times with my sisters and I. We even swung together on the backyard swing-set. Henny Stolz is a vivid picture of vibrant life and love - this is how I see her now as I have been thinking about her fondly and wanting to see her face. Thank you, Mrs. Stolz, for adding so much meaning to my life. My prayers and deep love go out to everyone in this family - I had wanted to attend the service and my husband and I are away. In Peace, Sharyn

So sorry to hear about your loss. She was always a dear friend to my mother. I remember as a young child, the women came over to play Mah Jong and would speak in Yiddish, thinking that us kids wouldn't understand. To their surprise, we did!

My best regards and condolences to the entire family.

My Aunt Henrietta was all the best in defining what a "balabusta" means. She was a whirlwind of an organizer, cook and a joyful presence as well. Her helpfulness new no bounds. As a kid living in New York, we looked forward to visits from Aunt Henrietta and the family. Even though her death saddens me, I still find myself smiling from memories of her. She will truly be missed.
