Obituary

Howard K. Schwartz of Eastern Dr., Wethersfield, died on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Howie was born in Hartford on September 22, 1954, the son of Betty Goldshein Schwartz and Hy Schwartz. He leaves to mourn his father, Hy Schwartz of Farmington, his sister, Susan Schwartz Poriss of Bloomfield, and his brother, Paul J. Schwartz and his wife Lucy of Aix-en-Provence, France. He was predeceased by his mother and his sister, Nancy Schwartz Rudman. He was also loved by two generations of nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are his housemates, caregivers and friends at Eastern Drive and at HARC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Howie?s memory may be made to the Hartford Association for Retarded Citizens (HARC), 1000 Asylum Ave., Hartford 06105.
