Jean (Greenberg) Trigg, 91, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Simsbury, widow of Vincent P. Trigg, died peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, after a several month illness. Her husband Vinnie had passed away in 1995 after almost 59 years of marriage. Born in Albany NY, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Rachel [Hershkovitz] Greenberg. She leaves four sons: Jerry Trigg of Dallas, TX, Robert Trigg of Avon, Dr. Michael Trigg of Wilmington, DE, and Peter Trigg of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter: Marilyn Tager of West Hartford; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother: Harold Greenberg of Boynton Beach, FL, and two sisters: Clara Sowalsky of West Hartford, and Edie Day of Buffalo, NY. She touched so many lives with her kindnesses and she will be sorely missed. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Shiva will be observed at the home of Clara Sowalsky on Tuesday and Wednesday with services at 7:30 pm each night.
