Lawrence Tattenbaum, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle passed away on November 26, 2009. Larry was a graduate of Brandeis ’54, Harvard M.B.A. ’58. Korean War veteran. Owner, President, and C.E.O. of Lamp Fair Incorporated. Director of Special Events at Boston’s Jordan Marsh. Vice President Verplex Lighting Corp. Founder and VP of American Home Lighting Association, Showroom Division. President, TLT Associates. Former President Tunxis Village BD. Co Founder and participant of CCSU Co-op program. Larry was known for opening international markets in the lighting design industry and recognized for his innovative merchandising. Avid sports fan, athlete, reader and patriot, Larry is survived by his loving and beloved wife of 33 years Patricia Tattenbaum of Farmington, CT, by his daughters Ellen Tattenbaum and her husband Alan Lepore of New Jersey, Susan Kearns of Marlborough and her husband Tim, grandchildren Joseph and Michael. Also by his sisters, Mimi and her husband Michael Pasetsky of Long Beach, NY and Rae Tattenbaum and her partner Margery Fine of West Hartford, CT and several nieces and nephews. Service will be at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT with internment at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
