Obituary

Lillian Levine of West Hartford, CT, died September 17, 2011. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Widow of the late Joseph Mendelsohn and Philip Levine. Born in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Isadore Mirsky and Dora Mirsky. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Dr. Harvey) Matloff of Cheshire, CT., and Eleanor (Harold) Cohan of Boynton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Dayna Sproule, Stacy Rosen, Dr. Jeffrey Cohan, Randi Chasen, Daniel Matloff, and Wendi Shook and twelve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Besse Wachtel and brothers, Hy Mirsky and Irving Mirsky. The family wishes to thank Alexandria Manor in Bloomfield, CT, for their wonderful care and kindness. Funeral service will be held Monday, (September 19, 2011) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, 06105 with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield.
