My sincere sympathy to Max's children with his passing. He was a very close friend to my dad, Sebastiano LaRosa. I have wonderful memories of witnessing their friendship and my many conversations with Max, especially when I intercepted his phone calls to my Dad. He was such a cheerful and friendly person. My husband and I had the pleasure of calling and visiting Max about two years ago when we were nearby his home. We shared memories and he seemed very pleased with our visit. I took photos then of us and sent him a copy. He is in a peaceful place with Edie now.

David and Lorrell,
Harold and I were saddened to learn of Max's death.
We so well remember when he worked his magic for both of our parents...That was a long time ago, and I still remember him muttering while putting up the "canvas" on the livingroom walls.
Let me tell you there are no people today who can do the work he did, and certainly not up here in the Berkshire HIlls.
He was a great guy, but you know that.
Please accept our deepest sympathy at this most difficult time.

I recall Mr. Sasportas coming to my home as a child. I have fond memories of him . May the family find warmth and comfort at this time.
