Although separted by many miles, the bond that Michael and I forged while friends and roommates at Middlebury has remained strong and meanininful. Ann and I have fond memories of our visit together for Midd's 45th reunion 5 years ago, when we enjoyed Michael and Alexandra's gracious hospitality. We had a wonderful time together, and were looking forward to doing so again this June for our 50th reunion, where Michael will now be sorely missed. We were shocked and saddened by the news of Michael's passing and extend our heartfelt sympathy to Alexandra and the family. We're sorry that distance separates us at this difficult time, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Alan and Ann

I work closely with Dave at Kaplan and wish to express what an exceptional individual he is. I'm sure many of his fine traits and talents came directly from his father. May his memory be for blessing.

I am saddened to hear of Mike's passing; we shared 4 years at Middlebury and 3 at Columbia Law (2 of which we lived together and I often thought it was my cooking which sent him into marriage). we stayed in touch when we both got out of the Army. I was looking forward to seeing him at our 50th class reunion this June in Vermont. Always a nice guy and a good friend.

Michael was truly a leader, a pace setter, who did so much for so many. His contribution to Camp Horizon and the PROBUS Club of Hartford, can never be equaled. He was a "go to" person when something needed to be done. His gentle manner was very special to all of us that had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.

Michael has left a permanent mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was generous and thoughtful to the weakest members of society. He was pasionate about his devotion to the Probus Club, both the Hartford Chapter and National. We will all miss him dearly.

Dear Dr. Flowers,

I am terribly, terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband. Having been through sudden loss myself, I understand a bit of what you are going through. Please know that you are not alone in your grief. I'm sending prayers for healing to your entire family. May your heart find peace in the moments and days to come, and may you continue to cherish all that life offers and all that you and your husband have loved sharing together over the years.
