What a wonderful person Mimi was! I knew her from her many years as a substitute teacher at Hartford Public High School, where she was beloved for her positive energy, her unflagging cheerfulness, and her reluctance ever to complain. Always amiling, she was an enormous asset to both the professional staff and the students. I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of this splendid woman. She will indeed be missed!

Miriam was a dear, sweet person. She was able to calmly work with many of the inner city's most difficult children. She continued as a substitute teacher long past the time she was physically able to do so.We will all miss her cheerful smile and pleasant personality. She is now at peace.
