Morris Stoltz, 92 years of age, of Newington passed away peacefully on December 29th. He was born July, 21, 1922 in Hartford, and was the son of the late Charles and Mamie ( Levine) Stoltz. Pre-deceased was his wife Henrietta (Tannenbaum) Stoltz, his life-long partner of 67 years. His brothers, Bernie, Harry, Sam Stoltz, and sister Esther Stone pre-deceased him. Surviving him are his two daughters Sharon Chaet and Lorraine Kuszek, his four grandchildren Jaclyn Kuszek, Rachel Nicholas, Sarah Kornhaber and husband Mitchell, Leah Rumore and wife Heather, and 3 great grandchildren Kolby, Miah, and JJ, and several nieces and nephews. Morris worked as an accountant for years and had a love for numbers. After retirement he devoted his time to his family and to watching sports of any kind, especially his beloved baseball team the Boston Red Sox. He was a member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. “Pop-Pop” will be missed and remain in a special place in our hearts. He is now with his wife, the love of his life, who he loved and cared for unconditionally. Funeral services will be held graveside on Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at 10am at Agudas Achim Cemetery, located in Perkins Corner, Mansfield. The cemetery is located across the street from the Mansfield Drive-in, 228 Stafford Road Mansfield, CT 06250.
