Naomi Greenberg of Delray Beach, Florida, (formerly of West Hartford, CT) passed away peacefully at her home on November 7, 2023 with Ed, her husband of 68 years, by her side. She was born on November 25, 1931 in Hartford, CT and was the youngest child of Harry and Minnie Gershman. She was predeceased by her sister Esther Gendel and her brother Melvin Gershman. In addition to her husband Ed, Naomi leaves behind her daughter Linda and her husband Gary Feldman of Denver, CO, daughter Susan and her husband Stew Fisher of Philadelphia, PA, and son Barry Greenberg and his wife Jacki of Weston, CT. She was adored by her grandchildren – Eric and Becca, David, Alex (and his wife Dayna), and Chelsea and Lindsey.
Prior to moving to Florida, Naomi had a long and exciting career with CIGNA where she worked as an Executive Assistant for several leaders of the company including the President and the Chairman of the Board. She excelled at her position which led to a summer in Philadelphia opening a new corporate branch.
Naomi was known for her love of the arts, and her talent in singing and dancing, which led her to perform in Lakeridge Greens in Boynton Beach (FL), where she and Ed resided for nearly 25 years. Always a vibrant part of her community, she assumed the role of Entertainment Chair, finding, hiring and introducing professional talent for performances.
Graveside Service will be held at Piaterer Verein Society Cemetery, Friday, November 10 at 12 noon. Address: 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT.
