Rafi and I will miss Bob greatly. He was a most cherished friend with whom we spent many happy hours. We enjoyed his sense of fun, his unflagging good humor, his love of all things sporting and energetic, his pleasure in travelling and just spending time together. We admired him for his many sterling qualities - his love of family, his adoration of his wife, his integrity, his philanthropy and his dedication and support of our Jewish community. He had the knack of making people feel appreciated and respected. His friends had no doubt of his love.We will miss his email announcements of community events and bargain opportunities.Restaurant week will not be the same without him to remind us. Most of all, we will miss Bob, our dear dear friend. We know his memory will be for a blessing. May his family find comfort in the wonderful memories and the good deeds he has left as a lasting legacy. Love, Robin and Rafi

Bob was one of the most open and friendly people I have ever met. We met in early high school, where he won everybody over with his big smile and engaging personality. As everyone knows, he became the same type of man - a real mensch with the finest instincts in helping his community. My deepest sympathy to the entire Fishman family.

Our sincerest condolences to the Fishman Family. How shocked and saddened we were to hear this news. We just shared a terrific evening with Bob at a NY Knick's Game in December, talking about business, basketball, skiing and grandchildren. It was clear to us that Bob's joie de vivre carried him through life, that he was a man that loved and lived to the fullest. He had so much more to do and so much more love to give. We hope that you all are able to take comfort in the memories and know that he is still with you in spirit and in his daughter's smile.
Much love to you all.

Dear Hedyth, Daniel and Monica: I am still at a loss for words; feeling great sadness and disbelief. We've worked so closely together for almost four years and I can only
thank God for giving me the opportunity to be a part of his life, even for this short time. I've learned so much and will miss our conversations and debates. Most of all, I will miss his presence. I am praying that God give you the strength to get through this difficult time. I know your faith will guide you through. God Bless.

Dear Hedyth and the whole Fishman family, words can not describe how shocked and sorry we are to hear about Bob. He was a true friend, generous with his smiles, time and philanthropy. Bobby, is among a select few that understood the importance of having Hebrew Academy in our community and was a tireless volunteer, advocate and supporter. Above all Bobby was a "Mensch". Please know that the Hebrew Academy is here to support you in anyway we can.
We will miss you a Bobby!
