Rosella Roth Michelson of Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford, passed away July 3, 2008. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Helen Roth. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Michelson and her eight siblings with whom she enjoyed a special bond: Jack, Eva, Edythe, Esther, Florence, Lester, Rivian, and Mildred. She was also close to many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by Roberta, Nancy, Joan, Harvey, and great niece Lisa.
She leaves her beloved and loving family: her daughter Pamela Lassman and her son-in-law Nathan, her grandson Andrew and his wife Jessica, and her great granddaughter Emma Eden Lassman. Before she retired she was an executive secretary for the research and development division of Litton Industries. She was very devoted to her family and will be sorely missed.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of the Hebrew Home and Hospital, to Rabbi Gary Lavitt, the entire staff of the 2 North Unit especially Dr. Notoroglu, Dr. Glodin and Dr. Gil-Peres, devoted nurses, Mary, Theresa, and Susan, and caring nursing assistants, Raine, Maria S.,Aunt Raine, Del, Earline, Merle, Marcia,.,., and the Hospice Team including Mary K. and Barbara. Funeral services will be held on July 6, 2008 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT with Rabbi Ilana C. Garber officiating. Interment will follow at Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon, CT. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her children following the funeral on-July 6, 2008 from 2- 9 and July 7, 2008, from 2-4, and 7-9 including a service at 8 pm.
