Obituary

S. Leonard Goldman of West Hartford, CT, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He leaves his wife of 72 years, Anne (Weinberg) Goldman; a daughter and son in law, Leslie and George Friedland of Boynton Beach, FL; a son and daughter in law, Robert and Nichole Goldman, and their son Gage, of Wilmington, DE; a grandson Nathaniel and his wife, Aubrey and two great-grandsons, Logan and Maxwell also of Wilmington, DE.

Leonard served in the WWII CBI Theatre. He worked in sales and after retirement, worked at Day Pitney Law Firm for over twenty years.

Following a private service at 2:00pm Friday, the family will be receiving at Hoffman Summerwood, 160 Simsbury Road, West Hartford, CT

Dear Anne and family: I was deeply saddened to read of Leonard's death in today's paper. I consider myself very fortunate to have known and worked with Leonard for many years at Day Pitney (Day, Berry & Howard). He was a rock-solid colleague, much beloved and relied on by everyone. I have thought of him many times since I retired from the firm nearly 20 years ago. In fact, he popped into my mind a couple days ago and I would like to think he was saying "farewell" to me and all his other admirers. There will ALWAYS be a warm spot in my mind and heart for Leonard Goldman! Harold Buckingham
