Steven Pfau, 69 years of age, of Bloomfield died Thursday, April 16, 2015. Born in Waterbury, he was the son of the late Henry and Marion Solomon Pfau. He leaves his adoring sister and brother in law, Sheila Shechtman and her husband Richard of Avon, Sharon Whitely of Tucson Arizona, and two favorite nieces, Rachel and Jenny Shechtman, of NYC. Steve worked in the family businesses for many years, Bedford’s and Fabrics Plus in Waterbury and Southbury, Ct. He loved working with customers and especially his dad. A special thanks to his caregiver of 7 years, Patrick Walsh, who supported Steve like a brother and to Project Genesis and the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut whose unfailing support will be forever appreciated. There are no calling hours and burial will be at the family’s convenience.
