WERNER, Yetta Werner, resident of the Hebrew Health Center and Hospital, West Hartford, died on Saturday, April 5, 2008. Born in Poland, she immigrated to the United States in 1920 with several brothers and sisters. She lived in Brooklyn, NY, and was a member of the Talmud Torah Temple, Flatbush. Yetta was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters. She moved to West Hartford and lived on Sky View Drive for over 20 years. She was a member of the United Synagogues of Greater Hartford, West Hartford, a lifelong member of Hadassah and other charitable organizations. She leaves her only son, Dr. Herbert Werner and his wife Lilo of Avon; two grandsons, Dr. Alain-Marc Werner and his wife Judy Werner-Landowne of Boxford, MA, and Raphael Werner and his wife Suzanne of Avon; and her four beloved great-grandchildren, Maillane, Tyson, Zoe and Adrian, who were her greatest joy, they will miss great-grandma dearly. She also leaves two nieces, Dr. Helen Greene and Florence Fertig and their extended families of Long Island, NY; and her nephew Arthur Newman and his wife Joyce of Florida. Funeral services and interment will be held TODAY, Monday, April 7, 2008 at Beth Moses Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI, NY.
