Dear Marion, Cheryl and Barb: This is the hardest thing I've ever done as we have all been friends for over 50 years. We go through life thinking that we have many friends when infact they are just acquaintances. This was a true friendship and a wonderful friend. He will be greatly missed.

Much Love, Nancy and David

Gene, I am very sorry for your loss. I only found out today when I stopped by the store. I have always known Barry as the man behind the counter who was always their when I needed something, regardless of how trivial it might have been. We take for granted
that the good things in life will be forever. I deal with many people in my profession, and Barry was one of the good ones. He will be missed.

Dear Marion, Gene, and Wilma,
I am so very sorry to hear of Barry's passing. You know how long I have known your family...way back to Wethersfield when we were neighbors, and our parents were good friends. A much simpler time.

My heart breaks for you.

My deepest condolences to the Mazo family. Being fellow business owners in Hartford's South End for the past 15 years my late dad and I had become more than just business acquaintances. I was extremely saddened to hear of his death from a note on the hardware store's door when I stopped by Saturday. He was always a pleasure to deal with. All that had the pleasure of knowing him suffer a great loss in his absence. I will keep him and the family in my prayers.

This sad news hit hard. Although we have been out of touch for years since I moved away from West Hartford, a former classmate is never out of mind. Marion, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your husband, to your daughters for the loss of their father, to Gene and Jean, the loss of a brother. May you find comfort in memories of happier days.
