Over 30 years ago, as a college-bound high school student, I took a typing class with Mrs. Appell. I thought this business course would help me with term papers. I could never have fathomed the hours I spend most every single day at a keyboard. THANK YOU Mrs. Appell for your unending patience and perserverance and fine educating skills. I shall remember you fondly

I was so sorry to hear of Janet's death. She was a very special person who, along with her husband occupied an important place in the lives of both me and my husband for many years. I am so sorry I could not be with you today, but please accept my sympathy and condolences for your loss.

My deepest sympathy to Gary and Michael and their families. Mrs. Appell was my Sunday school teacher way back in the day at Temple B'Nai Israel in New Britain. She was a very kind and considerate person with an infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet Janet. I remember her very clearly sitting outside of Michael's office, so happy to be back at Brandeis.

May you all cherish her memories and keep her love in your hearts.

Sincerely,

Arlene and Harvey

Michael and Gary,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have wonderful childhood memories of your parents. They certainly held an important place in my life growing up in New Britain, whether it be in carpools, classrooms or Young Judaea events. Your Mom was a lovely woman-warm and kind. Condolences to you and your families.
Love,
Sharon (Brodsky) and Hesh Richman
