Rita was my mother's first cousin and recall that she was the
quintessential homemaker and an excellent hostess when entertaining at her home. We had enjoyed some of her cooking.
Many stories about the Freedman Family were discussed over the table as I remember good memories of her mother, Hannah and brother Sonny. She had also been close to my late Uncle Abe.
There was also Uncle Nathan who usually kept the gathering going.

Memories of Aunt Rita: We spent almost every Thanksgiving and Passover together at her house on Kirkwood Road. She was an amazing cook and loved to get the extended family together. But we had to stay out of her kitchen when she was cooking! Aunt Rita rest in peace.

I first met Rita at Hoffman Summerwood four years ago. I work there part time on the weekend at the front desk. Rita always hung out with her crew in the living room area and upstairs in the game room. She was a nice person. Rita rest in peace.

Always,

Gary and family, I am sorry for your loss. I have great memories
of your mom letting me stay over your house. I have a clear memory of a picture of a 5 or 6 year old birthday party with her in it with you, Adam, Jimmy and I.

She really put a lot of effort into helping at the synagogue.
I'm glad she had a long life and meaningful one.
Best wishes, Steve
